Magnetic polarising filter CPL for K9 filter holder 90mm

The Kase K9 filter holder set for 100x100mm or 100x150mm rectangular filters was developed as a filter holder solution for conventional rectangular filters with a thickness of 2mm as well as for our K100 SLIM filters (1.1mm material thickness). The current 2022 version of the K9 filter holder uses combined filter rails that can hold both normal 2.0 mm rectangular filters and 1.1 mm slim rectangular filters. Please note: If you mount slim and normal rectangular filters at the same time, you must mount the slim filter first - in the first rail - counting from the lens end / filter holder. This allows the polarising filter to be attached and removed quickly when in use. In addition, the polarising filter can be easily and continuously adjusted using a rotary wheel on the filter holder without having to turn the filter holder itself. Even when wearing gloves in cold weather, you can easily adapt your setup to the current conditions. The CPL filter integrated in the set has a nano-coating so that your polarising filter is protected from streaks and can be cleaned quickly and easily. The CPL, which is indispensable in photography, is included in the scope of delivery so that no additional purchase costs are necessary for you. The polarising filter can also be used independently of the actual filter holder. The magnetic polarising filter simply needs to be inserted into the basic adapter ring. As two of these basic adapter rings are included in the set, you can work with two lenses at the same time. Processing Unwanted light reflections are minimised by installing the filter directly on the lens. The polarising filter can be set to the desired position using a setting wheel on the filter holder, even if an ND or GND filter is used in the holder, for example. The Kase K9 filter holder system is precision CNC-milled from aluminium and anodised matt black to minimise light reflections. The filter holder is designed so that no stray light can penetrate from the side. The K9 filter holder also stands out due to its light weight and flat design and impresses with its stable, durable workmanship. A total of 4 adapter rings for standard lens sizes are included in the set. The two basic adapter rings are magnetic on the outside. Lenses with a lens diameter of either 77mm or 82mm fit on the inside of each basic adapter ring. The outer diameter of the basic adapter ring is 90mm. If your lens has a smaller filter diameter, additional screw-in step-up adapter rings may be required. Two of these adapter rings, with a size of 67-82mm and 72-82mm, are already included in the scope of delivery. Filter inserts Two filter rails are fitted at the factory and a third can be retrofitted if required. The third filter rail is included in the scope of delivery Up to 3 filter racks offer excellent options for combining the filters with each other. Our filter holder is compatible with most 100mmx100mm or 100mmx150mm filters from other manufacturers with a glass thickness of 1.1mm and 2.0mm. You can therefore also use our Kase rectangular filters in parallel with plate filters from other brands in our K9 filter holder. Attention: The magnetic lens cap does not fit in the 95mm version of the base adapter ring. Notes: No magnetic round filter can be mounted in the filter holder of the basic adapter ring in 95mm diameter. There is no surface here to install a magnetism.

With the help of this base adapter ring you can easily make another lens compatible with the K9 filter holder. The base adapter ring is for using the magnetic 90mm polarizing filter (CPL) or magnetic ND filter is available in the following diameters and can be ordered for lenses with filter threads of 72mm, 77mm, 82m, 86mm and 95mm. Lenses with a smaller diameter may require an additional Screw-in step up adapter ring - e.g. from 58 to 77mm. This adapter ring is exclusively compatible with our K9 filter holder!Notes With the basic adapter ring with a diameter of 95mm, a magnetic round filter cannot be mounted in the filter holder. There is no space here to incorporate magnetism.

The magnetic lens cap with a diameter of 90mm has been specially designed to be used as a K9 filter holder. This allows you to quickly and reliably cover the lens and/or the CPL / polarizing filter.
